Stories, poetry and art for a brighter world.
On holiday for the next six months. Messages to the team will be on here. I am burnt out and exhausted after years of working thirteen to twenty hours a day. Thank you so much to everyone who has so kindly supported, encouraged and helped me promote my writing, it has been the best support in the world. I deeply and sincerely appreciate it. It has been a very long couple of years sorting a business out. Favourite quote, Queen Camilla. “Please remain true to your calling, unimpeded by those who may wish to curb the freedom of your expression or impose limits on your imagination.”

Rain upon the roof

Rain,
rain upon the roof,
pelting down in the town,
where you told the truth,
but what good did it do,
because people seem to want people to suffer,
and for what reason I wish I knew,
because you were you,
and did not believe in you,
and what better could you do,
for the problem was theirs it is true,
and they,
they pervaded your thoughts,
with such negative retorts,
when you attempted to help,
in a buoyant swell,
of effervescent mood.
Oh, how rude,
how rude, how rude,
but now you are happier indoors,
away from negativity,
and happier to be alone,
listening to the rain,
for blissful,
blissful is nature's symphony,
because it brings great beauty,
and no pain,
no pain.
