Reviews from the strange, heartfelt and impossible worlds of Benjamin Arthur Robinson.
Space 2047
★★★★☆4/5
An enormous comic science-fiction adventure with a singular appetite for invention: bizarre creatures, improbable technology, interstellar mishaps and characters who keep moving even when logic has long since left the room. Its greatest strength is abundance; its greatest weakness is the same, because the narrative can sprawl and the jokes sometimes compete with momentum. Yet the world has personality, and beneath the nonsense is real affection for its misfits. Undisciplined, imaginative and unmistakably its own thing.
