Wilderness, beauty,
brief silence,
shade,
the sound of birds,
the smell of flowers upon the longest of days,
and in the earliest of the hours,
I wait for your call, and whilst the time passes,
I take in it all,
I take in its beauty, and I sit in the sunshine rays,
and I hear your voice from far off,
and to your tune, the minutes I while away,
for you are effervescent, and with a wanton beguiling way,
and I await your news expectantly,
hoping for the happiest of days.
