What of the light

What of the light,
and of the colour,
and of the sun’s rays,
what of the brightness,
and of the grey,
what of nature,
and of how it affects our moods and ways,
for me, tis the colour blue of the sky above,
for when black as black,
as the night is present,
do I dream of the colour,
and the sun above,
and whence upon the day,
I look out the window, and I fall in love,
and no other colour do I wish to think of,
for it radiates many memories, and many pleasantries,
and upon my eyes, shining inside of me,
the warmth of which a tropical sea,
for blessed it is and blessed I be,
and no other colour would I wish it to be,
for tender is the blue,
tender is the blue that colours me happy.
